Cristhian Mosquera: a regular and consistent player in Valencia CF backline
The Valencia CF defender has 45 consecutive LALIGA EA SPORTS appearances to his name, 35 of them full starts.
Valencia CF centre-back Cristhian Mosquera continues to increase his tally with Valencia CF. Mosquera has now gone 14 months without missing a LALIGA EA SPORTS match, 11 of which he has played every minute.
This statistic, which reflects his regularity and consistency with the team, began on matchday 3 of LALIGA EA SPORTS 23-24 against CA Osasuna. Since that match, the Valencianista defender has played 45 consecutive games in the domestic competition -36 in the 23-24 campaign and 9 in the 24-25 campaign-, 35 of them playing every minute. He has played in every LALIGA match since August 2023.
In this LALIGA EA SPORTS 24-25 he is one of nine outfield players who have played all 810 minutes. The list includes Kiko Femenía (Villarreal CF), Sergio González ( UD Leganés), Antonio Raíllo (RCD Mallorca), Abdul Mumin and Florian Lejeune (Rayo Vallecano), Lucas Oliveira (Valladolid CF), Diego Llorente (Real Betis) and Enzo Boyomo (CA Osasuna).
It is worth noting that Mosquera has started the 24-25 season after winning Olympic gold with the Spanish national team and after consolidating his place in the Valencia CF first team under Rubén Baraja last season. The centre-back, who was trained at the VCF Academy, is also still in the running to win the Golden Boy 2024 and the Fútbol Draft 2024 Award, which rewards the best Spanish youth academy player.
